An incredible delight - getting to see the Pacific with my menfolk, and treasuring a week just us. I didn't have to leave my family even once - and that was bliss. We visited the beach and saw sunset every day except once. We walked a small mountain, and took train rides just for joy.
These shoes deserve a shoutout. The last cute shoes I wanted to post to the internet were adorable sparkly grey and white striped Sperry's with a drool worthy cork border. But - they ended up giving me blisters after a 30 minute grocery shopping adventure to Market Street. Those blisters were gross for 3 weeks and then healed for 3 more weeks. Blech. SOOOOO... I bought these real cay-uuuute shoes from Target and ALLLLMOST posted a shoe-brag about them until. :) I figured I'd wear them for a while and make sure they weren't murderous first. Trekked Los Angeles with 'em. Walked a mountain with 'em. I'm buying another pattern. BAM.
